BVNW PBC sponsors programs to educate parents on many different topics such as Internet Safety, Bullying, and Teen Drug and Alcohol Abuse.
These programs are free to parents, and provide valuable information for supporting their teens through these formative years.
In April, 2009 Safehome presented The Outrage - an educational journey through teen dating violence and sexual assault, preceded by the Overland Park Police Department on the topic of "Sext'ing".
Parents and students attended a performance that addressed topics of teen violence and sexual assault. It included a candid and sensitive depiction of realistic situations, followed by a session of Q & A with the actors and the OPPD police officer.
